This book was not helpful at all. Although this is supposed to be a beginner book, somethings get lost like directions for assignments are in Spanish. We are learning Spanish why aren’t the directions in English (which ever is your native language) and Spanish. I did however like the interactive lesson that comes with the book.

First off, this service is extremely over priced for how poorly it was designed. Also the companion textbook for this website is idiotic.

The worst learning product I've ever had. I cannot believe this is a beginning Spanish course. No starting point, just starts as if you already spoke the language.
It was new and the connect code worked
Saved me a lot of money for sure.
One would think that MH would make a greater effort to hide the fact that this whole system is only to ensure higher profits over poor students who would otherwise just need a used textbook.
I personally don't think that I should be required to Share any facts, habits or info about myself to a third party sake of education. How could someone supposedly educating the next generation of America turn a blind eye to systematic robberry via poor quality antics like MH Connect Spanish? Listen up guys you need to stand your ground and refuse to be victimized further by publishing companies!

Contrary to other reviews, this code DID work flawlessly. I had the puntos 9th edition and it was compatible. Buying this off of here instead of connect will save you a bit of money. This also comes with the E-book. I highly recommend this!
